Who is GLP?
A new voice in the Belgian dance world
Glen Lambrecht Productions (GLP) is an ambitious dance company under the artistic direction of Glen Lambrecht, international choreographer and former soloist with the Czech National Ballet in Brno.
GLP creates accessible, visually compelling dance performances based on original and existing stories. The company works with a carefully selected cast of professional and semi-professional dancers and offers a platform to talent that often falls outside the traditional circuit.
After the successful debut of Cogétama (2021, revived in 2022), the first national tour followed in 2024 with Oorlogsdochters (Daughters of War). GLP's most successful production to date is Notre-Dame, in which Lambrecht's poetic and powerful style comes into its own.

Following the success of “Oorlogsdochters” (Daughters of War) and “Cogétama,” Glen Lambrecht Productions, in collaboration with Excelsior vzw, will present their third full-length production, “Notre Dame,” based on Victor Hugo's well-known story, in the fall of 2024.
In keeping with Victor Hugo's beloved classic novel, NOTRE DAME tells the emotionally charged love story of the hunchbacked bell-ringer Quasimodo, the lust-obsessed archdeacon of the cathedral Claude Frollo, and the seductive young captain Phoebus, and their unwavering devotion to the beautiful gypsy Esmeralda.
Directed by Glen Lambrecht, with costume design by Antonio Escobedo and Ria Van Looveren, this new GLP production brings the passion and complexity of love to life. With exciting music and unique choreography, performed by a strong international cast, all set against the backdrop of the iconic French cathedral. Don't miss this unique dance/theater experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Premiere: August 2024, Cultuurhuis Herbakker, Eeklo.
Revivals: Flemish tour 2025, NTGent 2026.
