About Glen

About Me.

Glen Lambrecht graduated from the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp in 2012 and subsequently joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders, where he danced until 2016. During this period, he performed roles in creations by renowned choreographers such as Wayne McGregor, Marcia Haydée, John Cranko, Glen Tetley, Edward Clug, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Christian Spuck, and Alexander Ekman.


He then became a member of the Slovak National Ballet in Bratislava, where he danced leading roles such as Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet by Nathalia Horeca), Espada (Don Quixote), Birbanto (Le Corsaire), and Friend of Phoebus (Esmeralda), all choreographed by Vasily Medvedev, as well as Dmitri (The Brothers Karamazov by Boris Eifman).

 

In 2020, he was promoted to demi-soloist and in 2021 he performed as ballet master for Europa Danse Company.Since 2022, Glen has been dancing with the Czech National Ballet in Brno, where he was promoted to demi-soloist in 2023 and remained until July 2025. There he worked with internationally renowned choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, José Martinez, Mario Radačovský, and Jiří Bubeníček.


As a choreographer, Glen won silver at the Best Young Choreographer of Belgium competition with his work November°2, and has since created new ballets for the Slovak National Ballet in Bratislava, the Ballet of the National Theater Brno, and the Ballet of the Moravian Theater Olomouc.


Since January 2020, he has also been artistic director of his Belgian non-profit dance company Glen Lambrecht Productions.

 

From September 2025, Glen will focus entirely on his career as an international freelance choreographer.
